This blog is going to be my personal testifying, faith building, and study notes witness. My goal over the next year is to grow spiritually in faith, obedience, and in receiving guidance and feeling the Holy Ghost. I know that Heavenly Father will bless me in whatever ways I need if I am obedient and strive to come closer to Him. My Goals for the year 2013 will be:
Spiritual: Faith, obedience, Holy Ghost
Temple attendance once a month
Read Sunday School lesson and RS lesson on Sundays
Scripture Study 30 minutes
Sincere prayers
Physical: Continue to play football and run.
Emotional: Stay Balanced
Teaching: Focus on the girls and their needs
- Build self-esteem
- Help them to have fun
- Leave them positive notes
- Motivate them to improve
Family: Serve them more, share my testimony with them.
Callings: Seek guidance from the Holy Ghost
What is my purpose:
The overall purpose is to prove myself. I need to show Heavenly Father that I put Him first and will sacrifice whatever is asked of me to return to Him. I need to have Faith and be obedient to the things I know to be true and right. My daily purposes are to serve those I come in contact with. I can teach the girls about sports, treating others kindly, make them feel important, show them I care, etc. I need to love and appreciate the Griffiths family more. I need to help with kids, LOVE them, and make sure they know how important they are to me. I can help teach the kids about the Savior and share my love for Him. I can be an example of someone who fully commits to Christ and is happy to deal with the struggles that I face. We all have Goliaths to conquer. Life is too good to focus on what we don't have. Instead, focus on what we do have. I have an AMAZING family who loves and supports me. I have a great job that fits my strengths and desires. I live by the best family ever who is willing to share their daily life with me. I have the knowledge that God loves me. I know that I am a daughter of God and that Christ lived and died for me. I know that He is my Redeemer.
Every Sunday I will check in with this blog on how my goals are going and how the week went. The year 2013 is going to be my spiritual re-birth. I can't wait to see my spiritual growth in a year.
